EXPECTED DELIVERY TIME
At K and G Cycles, we want you to receive your products as soon as possible! The majority of our orders ship within 1-2 business days. On orders that require us to special order from the manufacturer, delivery is usually 3-5 business days. As you can imagine, with over 200,000 products in our catalog, not all products on the website are available from the South Florida fulfillment center. In these cases, we try to have our supplier drop-ship directly to you to minimize any delays. This may result in your items arriving in multiple shipments from multiple sources. We keep track of it all so we know where everything is at in the process.
Backorders do occur and we will contact you if such a situation exists. You can elect to wait for the item to come into stock or cancel your order and try at a later time. It is important to note that if we have an item on backorder, it is on backorder nationally and will likely be hard to locate. On certain vendor lines, we recommend allowing the backorder to remain in place so you will receive the product before anyone else. All of our backorders are filled on a first-come/first-serve basis. If you are the first to place an order, then you will be the first to receive it. When you elect to wait for a part to come off backorder, you are actually waiting for the manufacturer to deliver the part to everyone who has already ordered it before any stock is released for sale. This is not an uncommon occurrence in the motorcycle industry. That’s why we say, “If you can’t find it at K and G Cycles, it’s going to be really hard to find.” Also, when you order an item that is back-ordered, you are locked in at that price – no matter what. We guarantee it!
OUR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY
All orders over $149.00 are shipped free to the continental U.S. All other orders (Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO, and international) will be shipped according to your instructions, and all shipping costs will be calculated and approved by you before we order or ship your products. We will charge you the lowest rate we can find and all shipping charges will include all required customs paperwork. All customs or import duties are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping charges.
Please do not ask us to understate the value of the contents of your package to lessen your customs or import duties upon arrival. We simply cannot do this.
OUR DOMESTIC SHIPPING POLICY
We will gladly ship your order to an address other than your credit card billing address if we can verify that your order is not fraudulent. We have a very sophisticated verification system in place which allows about 90% of our orders to be shipped to a different address. On those orders that we cannot verify to our satisfaction, we may ask for additional information such as a photocopy of your credit card and/or your driver’s license before proceeding. This is not intended to be either an insult or an invasion of your privacy in any way. Rather, it is intended as an extra layer of security that may allow us to honor your request to ship to an address different than your billing address. We respect your decision not to comply with our requests in these instances but we will likely be unable to proceed with the processing of your order without them. This policy is in response to the ever-increasing rate of credit card fraud – both domestic and international and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.
